Our Story
Little Cutlery started with a gift.
When my son was born, my auntie gave him a Whitehill teddy set, customised with his name. It was a lovely, old-fashioned kind of gift — the sort of thing that's been given to newborns for generations — but I couldn't help thinking it deserved a comeback. Personalised keepsakes like that had fallen out of fashion a bit, and I reckoned families would still love them if they were done right.
That's where Little Cutlery came from. We're a family-run outfit based in regional Victoria, and everything we make is personalised and laser-engraved right here in Australia. Every set is engraved to order — a name, a special date, a little message — so no two are quite the same.
Whether it's a first birthday, a christening, a new baby, or just because, we love being part of the small moments that make up a childhood — the same way that first personalised gift became part of ours.
Now that I've got a family of my own, running this business means even more to me. Every set that goes out the door is made with the same care I'd want for my own kids — and that's what keeps this a genuinely family-run business, not just in name.
